課程的教學(xué)目的與任務(wù)

《英語(yǔ)(二外)1》的教學(xué)目的是培養(yǎng)學(xué)生在掌握第一外語(yǔ)前提下具有較強(qiáng)的閱讀能力和一定的聽(tīng)、說(shuō)、寫(xiě)、譯能力,使他們能用英語(yǔ)交流信息。大學(xué)英語(yǔ)二外教學(xué)應(yīng)幫助學(xué)生打下扎實(shí)的語(yǔ)言基礎(chǔ),掌握良好的語(yǔ)言學(xué)習(xí)方法,提高文化素養(yǎng),以適應(yīng)社會(huì)發(fā)展和經(jīng)濟(jì)建設(shè)的需要。

課程的基本要求

根據(jù)因材施教、突出個(gè)性發(fā)展的教學(xué)規(guī)律,并參照教育部委托大學(xué)英語(yǔ)研究會(huì)與課程指導(dǎo)委員會(huì)制定的《大學(xué)英語(yǔ)課程教學(xué)要求》,我校大學(xué)英語(yǔ)二外課程實(shí)行英語(yǔ)教學(xué),使大多數(shù)學(xué)生能夠達(dá)到基本要求,并一部分學(xué)生能夠達(dá)到較高要求和更高要求。據(jù)此,《英語(yǔ)(二外)1》課程的基本要求為:

1.聽(tīng)力理解能力:語(yǔ)速為每分鐘120詞的聽(tīng)力材料,聽(tīng)兩遍即能正確理解中心大意,抓住要點(diǎn)和有關(guān)細(xì)節(jié),了解說(shuō)話者的觀點(diǎn)和態(tài)度。能聽(tīng)懂日常英語(yǔ)談話和一般性題材講座,能基本聽(tīng)懂英語(yǔ)節(jié)目。

2.口語(yǔ)表達(dá)能力:能在學(xué)習(xí)過(guò)程中用英語(yǔ)交流,能就所熟悉的話題經(jīng)準(zhǔn)備后作簡(jiǎn)短發(fā)言,語(yǔ)音、語(yǔ)調(diào)基本正確,并能就日常話題和英語(yǔ)國(guó)家人士進(jìn)行交談。

3.閱讀理解能力:能基本讀懂一般性題材的英文文章,閱讀速度達(dá)到每分鐘65詞。在快速閱讀篇幅較長(zhǎng)、難度略低的材料時(shí),閱讀速度達(dá)到每分鐘100詞。能讀懂工作、生活中常見(jiàn)的應(yīng)用文體的材料。能在閱讀中使用有效的閱讀方法

4.書(shū)面表達(dá)能力:能運(yùn)用學(xué)到的詞匯和語(yǔ)法結(jié)構(gòu)連句成段。能就一般性話題或提綱寫(xiě)出一段帶有中心句的文字,內(nèi)容基本完整,用詞恰當(dāng),語(yǔ)意連貫。能掌握基本的寫(xiě)作技能。

5.翻譯能力:能翻譯難度與課文相仿的英語(yǔ)文章,譯速每小時(shí)250詞,能將內(nèi)容熟悉的漢語(yǔ)譯成英語(yǔ),譯速每小時(shí)150字。

6.詞匯量要求:注意區(qū)分認(rèn)知型詞匯、活用型詞匯、核心詞匯。掌握的詞匯量應(yīng)達(dá)到2,500個(gè)單詞,300個(gè)詞組,其中1,600個(gè)單詞為積極詞匯,即要求學(xué)生能夠在認(rèn)知的基礎(chǔ)上學(xué)會(huì)熟練運(yùn)用,包括口頭和書(shū)面表達(dá)兩個(gè)方面。
