課程的教學目的與任務

《高級英語1》是英語語言文學專業三年級的一門必修課程，主要是將學生的英語學習由詞匯語法知識轉向對篇章、修辭的理解、欣賞，學習重點是英語構詞方式、同義詞辨析、復雜句子的結構分析、詮釋、修辭方法、英語篇章的構建方式、其銜接和連貫方式、文體風格等。使學生對于英語語言的理解和掌握達到升華，逐步學會欣賞優美的英語原文，接觸名家名篇，掌握更豐富、更純正的英語表達方式。

課程的基本要求

1、本課程閱讀材料內容廣泛，涉及政治、經濟、社會、語言、文學、教育、哲學等方面。通過閱讀和分析所選材料，擴大學生知識面，加深學生對社會和人生的理解，培養他們的分析和欣賞能力、邏輯思維與獨立思考能力。

2、結合范文，對詞匯、修辭、閱讀等方面內容進行分析，在鞏固和提高學生原有知識的同時，講授修辭基本知識，以培養學生文體鑒賞能力，了解并掌握英語寫作文體的思維方法，英語段落結構及寫作方法、英語論說文的類別、結構及寫作方法，在擴大知識面的同時習得優美的語言。

3、要求學生掌握每課文章中出現的生詞，分析理解文章中復雜句子的表層含義和深層含義。

4、要求學生能獨立完成課后練習，把自己的理解準確、清楚地表達出來。

[教學重點與難點]以詞匯、短語學習、課文理解、修辭格、描述性文體為教學重點，側重詮釋、修辭、文體欣賞、寫作手法等方面的學習與應用。

[教學重點與難點]以詞匯、短語學習、課文理解、修辭格、描述性文體為教學重點，側重詮釋、修辭、文體欣賞、寫作手法等方面的學習與應用。
