課程的教學目的與任務

《英語寫作基礎》是英語專業基礎階段一門重要的實踐課程和必修課程,開設本課程的目的是為了幫助學生確立英語寫作規范,培養學生初步的英語書面表達能力和英語寫作的基本技能,掌握句子、段落以及應用文寫作的基本理論和技巧,寫出主題較為突出、內容較為完善、語言較為通順、格式符合要求的短文。

課程的基本要求

1.掌握英語的書寫格式,掌握英語語句、語段和語篇的結構特點;掌握英語記敘文、描寫文、說明文和議論文的文體特點和寫作技巧;了解英語應用文的格式和特點并能進行一些常用應用文的寫作。

2.通過學習和實踐,掌握寫作技巧,提高書面表達能力和綜合運用英語能力;提高觀察分析、邏輯思維和批判思維能力。

3.學習和養成嚴謹的學習態度和誠實的文風。寫作內容力求符合要求、健康積極;寫作態度要嚴謹科學,要養成對寫作內容斟詞酌句、反復修改的好習慣;同時,學會合作學習,與同學在互幫互學中共同進步。

4.本課程采用課堂講授和寫作實踐相結合的教學方式。課堂講授使用多媒體教學,由教師講解寫作技巧并引導學生發現使用規律,結合小組活動和個人訓練等各種形式提高學生的寫作學習熱情。強調寫作過程的教學,積極鼓勵學生參與課堂教學,培養學生獲取和運用知識的能力、分析問題的能力、獨立提出見解的能力和創新的能力。在課外布置適量的寫作任務,及時操練和鞏固所學的語言知識和寫作技巧,加強對語言的實際運用能力。
