課程的教學目的與任務
《高級英語寫作》是英語專業的一門專業任選課,本課程旨在提高學生英語書面表達能力,充分激發和調動學生的寫作興趣,有指導地使學生從“想”用英文寫作,變為“會”用英文寫作,進而“愛”用英文寫作。到課程結束時,從語言層面上而言,學生能用符合英語語言表達習慣的方式流暢準確地表述自己的思想;從語篇層面上而言,學生能辨別各類標準化測試語篇、實用型語篇及學術型語篇的組織模式及特征,并進行相關寫作。
課程的基本要求
1. 進一步掌握英語語句、語段和語篇的結構特點;掌握英語記敘文、描寫文、說明文和議論文的文體特點和寫作技巧;提高語言措辭的連貫性和準確性。
2. 通過學習和實踐,掌握英語標準化測試,實用型語篇及學術型語篇的組織模式及特征運用。
3. 總結各類語篇的寫作要點,系統講解英語語篇寫作中的語言運用、主題確定、結構布局、邏輯論證、思維方式與表達方式,以及材料的篩選、利用等實際問題。

本課程采用課堂講授和寫作實踐相結合的教學方式,以語篇寫作為視角,以過程教學法為主導,調動學生的主觀能動性,使其能積極參與到寫作過程中來,在此過程中認識和完善自身的寫作能力。同時,運用多媒體,以符合要求的方式,將視覺信息的輸入轉換為書面語言的輸出。引導學生對不同語篇題材進行欣賞、分析、模寫,并在互評和討論的過程中提升學生的語言綜合運用能力。
