課程的教學(xué)目的與任務(wù)
《高級(jí)英語寫作》是英語專業(yè)的一門專業(yè)任選課,本課程旨在提高學(xué)生英語書面表達(dá)能力,充分激發(fā)和調(diào)動(dòng)學(xué)生的寫作興趣,有指導(dǎo)地使學(xué)生從“想”用英文寫作,變?yōu)椤皶?huì)”用英文寫作,進(jìn)而“愛”用英文寫作。到課程結(jié)束時(shí),從語言層面上而言,學(xué)生能用符合英語語言表達(dá)習(xí)慣的方式流暢準(zhǔn)確地表述自己的思想;從語篇層面上而言,學(xué)生能辨別各類標(biāo)準(zhǔn)化測(cè)試語篇、實(shí)用型語篇及學(xué)術(shù)型語篇的組織模式及特征,并進(jìn)行相關(guān)寫作。
課程的基本要求
1. 進(jìn)一步掌握英語語句、語段和語篇的結(jié)構(gòu)特點(diǎn);掌握英語記敘文、描寫文、說明文和議論文的文體特點(diǎn)和寫作技巧;提高語言措辭的連貫性和準(zhǔn)確性。
2. 通過學(xué)習(xí)和實(shí)踐,掌握英語標(biāo)準(zhǔn)化測(cè)試,實(shí)用型語篇及學(xué)術(shù)型語篇的組織模式及特征運(yùn)用。
3. 總結(jié)各類語篇的寫作要點(diǎn),系統(tǒng)講解英語語篇寫作中的語言運(yùn)用、主題確定、結(jié)構(gòu)布局、邏輯論證、思維方式與表達(dá)方式,以及材料的篩選、利用等實(shí)際問題。

本課程采用課堂講授和寫作實(shí)踐相結(jié)合的教學(xué)方式,以語篇寫作為視角,以過程教學(xué)法為主導(dǎo),調(diào)動(dòng)學(xué)生的主觀能動(dòng)性,使其能積極參與到寫作過程中來,在此過程中認(rèn)識(shí)和完善自身的寫作能力。同時(shí),運(yùn)用多媒體,以符合要求的方式,將視覺信息的輸入轉(zhuǎn)換為書面語言的輸出。引導(dǎo)學(xué)生對(duì)不同語篇題材進(jìn)行欣賞、分析、模寫,并在互評(píng)和討論的過程中提升學(xué)生的語言綜合運(yùn)用能力。
