課程的教學目的與任務

本課程的主要目的是通過對學生進行有計劃的、正規的、嚴格的、多種形式的聽力技能訓練，幫助學生逐步克服聽力障礙，使他們能逐漸掌握各種英語聽力技巧，聽懂不同體裁和題材的聽力材料，從而有計劃地逐步提高學生的聽力理解水平，培養學生實際應用語言的能力。通過聽力教學，學生可以了解和掌握英語常見體裁和題材的口頭表達形式和方法，正確理解語法形式和材料內容，正確理解語音、語法結構和詞匯在材料中的作用和意義，熟悉在常見場合下出現的典型語言、常用詞匯和表達形式等，從而不斷提高自己的聽力技能。

課程的基本要求

1.通過在聽力理解方面通過多種形式的訓練，使學生能聽懂英語國家人士關于日常生活和社會生活談話。

2.聽懂VOA或BBC正常速度新聞廣播和文化節目的大致內容。

3.在聽懂全文的基礎上準確把握某項或若干項關鍵信息。

4.根據所聽材料進行推理和分析，領會說話者的態度、感情和真實意圖。

5.能在15分鐘內聽寫根據已學知識編寫或選用的錄音材料（詞數為180個左右，念四遍，第一、四遍語速為每分鐘110個詞，第二、三遍根據意群停頓），錯誤率不超過9％。
